 Afternoon lovely readers,

I've been working on a few projects but nothing that's close to publishing. Mostly been busy trying to get my new house in order. For those of you on Maddy's New Cat Watch, still no kitty yet. SOON, fingers crossed.

I hope everyone is having a great October. It sure is pretty here. Also, random side note but we rented Fisherman's Friends the other night and it was a lovely movie. All ears for happy movie/tv show recommendations below.

One Week From Today!

Happy Monday! Hopefully anyway, ha. In honor of Spiral of Gold releasing one week from today I created this fun Spiral series glossary as a little reminder of important features of the story. Enjoy :)

The Move: Where are my pens?

 I'm just kidding! I know exactly where those are :)

Packing for a move is one thing. Even when I try to keep track of all the stuff I feel is "important" it's sometimes difficult. It took a long time to find where my wireless mouse is. Then there's actually moving the stuff and unpacking it. It's times like those that I think about magic and spells. If only I could magically organize everything and make what I'm looking for appear where I think it should be.

Things have settled down enough that writing is again coming along. Spiral of Gold will be available at the end of September which is super exciting, given how long it's taken for the third book to become a reality.

 Hullo and Happy Monday,

I hope everyone's had a lovely weekend. I took a nice walk this morning and now I'm busy avoiding packing (we did a lot over the weekend).

As I mentioned in my last post Spiral of Gold, Spiral book 3, is coming soon and now there are Pre-order links if you want to be prepared for the September 28th release date! Feel free to be surprised that I'm finally planning ahead. *Look at Maddy doing a pre-order* says every reader I've ever had. :)

A Little News Here and There

 Hullo lovely readers,

I hope this finds you well.

I've said it before and I'm saying it again, I'm going to do more with this blog. Now that it's in print I can be held accountable to it. Why haven't I published more often? Well, there are a variety of reasons. Some of them are practical. We've had A LOT going on this last year. 

My fiance and I just bought a house! The housing market in Maine's all kinds of crazy but we wanted to stop renting and we've found a lovely place to call home. What does that mean? I'll be getting a cat! HA. 

And it means a lot of other things. I've been busy with all of that though. The next couple of weeks I'll be packing away wondering how I have so much. stuff. If I post any pics it'll be of moving boxes.

Another reason I don't post to the blog is probably a lack of confidence. What can I say here? Does anyone want to read it? It's time to start writing though. Interacting with my readers is one of my FAVORITE things, so you'll be seeing more of me around here going forward. Feel free to comment and say hello : )

What comes next? Spiral of Gold, book three in the spiral series, is on the way and more stories after that. There's also some exciting news coming at some point this fall that I'm hoping will be a big surprise and good news if you enjoy my writing.

FREE Omnibus and exciting new release news!

Evening!

Happy 2020! I know it's been a while since I posted here but I wanted to update you on a couple of exciting bits of news. 

The first is that the One Black Rose Omnibus 1-3 is free today and tomorrow so if you're looking for a series to get you excited for summer be sure to check it out here.

The bit of news is that I'm working on One Black Rose 8 and hope to have it published soon. I've  just re-read book 7 and it made me really miss Castleton and the winter and summer fairies, not to mention Carley, Nick, and the rest.
